Best Banana Bread Ever...

I have to admit this recipe is an oldie but always a goodie...One of my dear friends, Patti, gave me her recipe for the best banana bread ever...It truly is...We've been making it for probably 15 years now or more and the recipe never fails...

I always half the original recipe because I make one loaf at a time...Here's how I make it...Using 3 different bowls, banana mixture in one and dry ingredients in the other...

3 bananas, very ripe - Mash them and mix them with mixer...Then add...
2 eggs and mix with bananas...Set aside...

In another large bowl, cream together...

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup softened butter or margarine

Then add the mashed bananas & egg mixture to the sugar and butter and blend them all together...

In another bowl mix...

1 1/4 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

dash of salt...

Add the banana mixture to the dry ingredients and mix all together with a mixer...I use a hand mixer...

Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes in a loaf pan...I use a Pampered Chef stone loaf pan...

Truly the BEST Banana Bread you'll ever eat...

Hey, how come your bananas aren't black like mine are when I make this bread? :-) This recipe sounds like something I'll be trying. Thanks for sharing!

Happiness...

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for th e way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
