SOUP IS DONE...

I think my BeadSoup is finished...I am a jewelry design challenged person, that's why I decided to take the challenge and participate in the big Beadsoup Party...I was paired with the very talented Dot Winchell from WinchellClayWorks...I played and played and didn't like anything I came up with to show off the beautiful clayworks that Dot had sent me...Finally today I decided to start over and just go for it...Here is what happened in my studio today...I'm pretty pleased and was able to use all of the beautiful beads and clasp that Dot had sent...I hope I did them justice...

I really like what you came up with. I'm a last minute designer too. ;) I really like that wavy metal component near the pendant. Very clever!

Eileen, I really like this. I actually finished mine today as well (have an advantage as I am in Europe). I love how delicate your piece is. Beautiful.

Eileen, you rocked that necklace! I too have to confess that I'm a last minute designer, but somehow the pressure adds some special energy to the mix, right? Nice job with this. :-)

What a beautiful, delicate pendant. I think I need to go and look at Dot's shop!
I love how you've put the clasp at the side to show it off more.

Eileen, I know just what you mean. I'm design challenged, too. I can make the beads but then...what to do with them is a total mystery.
But you shouldn't worry. Your necklace is beautiful. The color is so pretty and it has such a light, soft look.

I love what you came up with! And, I know all about taking things apart over and over again until it's just right - you're not alone, it's just your mind telling you that there's something else to tweak :o)

Lovely design. I, too, was designed challenged. Had beads sitting on my bead board all month, and was drawing a blank. You did a great job!

I think you did well, and I'm glad you worked on it till it felt right. It looks perfect to me, liking the little metal zizag near the pendant.

I also love the angle from which you took your photo of the necklace on, wish I could do that.

Love how it came out! I think pink and gray are so elegant together!

We don't have as much snow as you do , you must be below us (I'm in Pa) but we got a foot and a half yesterday but now the sun is shining so the blue looks great reflecting on the snow. But I don't think it will go away soon and more to come this W/E! I love the pic of your bulldog in the snow! Adorable!

Hope you are enjoying the Party!

Happiness...

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for th e way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
