Blog Carnival...So Far This Summer...

Well, this has proven to be an interesting summer so far...No big vacations planned...Husband out of work right now...

Hiking along some beautiful trails...
Luckily we have a pool so lots of fun and relaxing at the pool...
A fun day trip to D.C. during the hottest day of the summer (before today which reached 100)...
Property and tree damage due to insane storms the past 2 weeks...
A summer sports camp experience for my son who is not a sports kid...
It's his 4th year there and probably his last...He had fun but not his best of 4 years...
My older son is visiting next weekend, that will be a treat...

But mostly hanging out at home...
Pictures you ask for...Ok...Here they are...

Hey Eileen, I love the picture of your son with the bulldog. Your son is adorable!

I was raised with bulldogs. My parent had a kennel, raised, bred, showed, handled and my dad was a judge. He flew all over he place to shows. What a small world! Beautiful dogs!

Sounds like a great summer so far :) Sometimes the best vacations are staycations!

Happiness...

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for th e way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
