Keeping Our Feet Toasty Warm...

So I re-introduced myself to knitting again...I used to knit when I was a young teen...I remember my mother always knitting or crocheting something...I had so many vests, sweaters, skirts, ponchos that she made...They were so cool...I loved each one...I wish I had saved them...

So now I am knitting and am loving it...I've made a few hats which I'm really proud of...
Most of all, I am especially proud of the Pawfelt Slippers I made...I got the pattern from Becky who is the Etsy Shop called Pawfelts...I wasn't sure if I could complete them since I've never made socks before but she assured me that I could...With her guidance, help and encouragement I did it...
They are a big hit with my family...Keeping everyone's feet toasty warm...So much so that I've worn a hole in my first pair and am ready to make another for myself...So, thank you Becky for getting me started on my knitting journey again...

A nice change-up craft! And what a great result. I made a few pairs of earrings to change-up my baby sewing. AND you kept what you made - how nice is that? I wish I had teh ponchos my mom crocheted for me.

Happiness...

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for th e way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
